For nearly a thousand years, Putian woodcarving techniques have been inherited in one continuous line as they have constantly innovated and been ingenious in modeling. They are vivid in patterns with numerous praises. In modern times, the handicraft of woodcarving artistically enters people s lives, tends to be aesthetic, and is relatively successful in commercialization. However, its relatively high-end positioning and static display of unity make it hard for the modern public, especially the young poorly to appreciate, which results in a relatively rigid phenomenon. Therefore, how to effectively use digital interactive art to reflect the charm of wood carving and gain more recognition and affinity is worth exploring. This research is carried out to mainly discuss the status quo and dilemma of Putian wood carving and how digital interactive video art can be added to Putian wood carving as the intangible cultural heritage inheritance and innovation.}, year = {2022}, booktitle = {Proc.
