La escuela de Bothoa, una escuela rural

In 1992, in order to preserve the tangible and intangible heritage of rural schools, the association Musée rural de l éducation dans les Côtes d Armor (Rural Museum of Education of Côtes d Armor) leads a project to make the school of Bothoa a place to impart heritage classes. In 1994 this mu-seum opened its doors. In addition to an important work of rehabilitation of the building, it is furnished and enriched with objects to show a school set in the thirties. The museum also has the recreation of the master s house. The center organizes various types of activities throughout the year with the aim of immersing visitors in the atmosphere of a school of the past.
