This article aims to discuss the Cultural Heritage that makes up the celebration of the festivities in Mazagao Velho, in the state of Amapa, describing their historical, cultural and religious values. This text also seeks to analyze the historical-cultural-religious context of this community that has a rich heritage rooted in their religious and cultural traditions, which spans nearly two centuries and a half, and that to date has few written records. This is the result of an exploratory qualitative study which adopted literature review, document analysis and interviews as a way to research. The discussion begins with some initial considerations about religion and cultural heritage. Then it deals with the origin, location and the people of Mazagao Velho municipality in the state of Amapa. Following, it presents the religious and cultural manifestations of Mazagao Velho as intangible cultural heritage (Festival of Saint James the Festival of Our Lady of Mercy and Festival of the Holy Spirit). Finally, the concluding remarks.
