From Teaching to Entrepreneurial Pedagogy: Preservation of Territorial Heritage Through Design Thinking

The new paradigm of design combines pedagogical teaching with entrepreneurial pedagogy seeking innovation. In this context, this research is centred on the teaching methods and the students’ projects as a part of the methodology interactive workshops of the Master’s degree project of “Design for the Sustainable Development of Local Craft Productions”. This program raises many questions about the transmission and conservation of tangible as well as intangible heritage. This article focuses on the discussion of learning from the social design. It also stimulates the creation of new approaches and needs necessary for the teaching of design. The following paper is based on a research developed on the teaching activities at the University of Fine Arts in Sousse in Tunisia.
