A Study on Development of Ethnic Cultural Tourism Resources of China s Local Government through the Cultural Recycling of GesarEpic ― Focuson Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze in Sichuan Province

The purpose of this paper is to analyze that development and its meaning of ethnic cultural tourism resources by China s local government through Gesar Epic Tradition, especially focuson Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze in Sichuan Province. To do this study, I have extracted the related contents from state-level intangible cultural heritage list in the culture of Gesar Epic Tradition, as well as it was examined whether the accounts for any phase Gesar Epic in the khams cultures together. In this region, it widely distributed story and historic sites related to Gesar Epic Tradition, therefore it has to form a ‘Gesar mythology belt’. Secondly, we investigated each county government of Tibetan Autonomous Province Garze how continue to construct a place to leverage Gesar mythology. For example, they represented Gesar Epic Tradition by maintained carving which had been destroyed in the past, erected a bronze statue, and established a memorial hall, museum, cultural arts center also. Lastly, it is helped that be expected to understand the surface that develop a unique cultural traditions of ethnic minorities as tourism resources by the local government in China.
