Resumen

This study discusses specific issues to the learning of traditional dances from the perspective of educational effectiveness and efficiency. The study of choreographic dimension, the space that it uses and develops, the diversity and specificity of rhythm, the skills, the movement and his relationships, organizes the act of learning to learn, to respond to the questions: what to learn (the contents); how to learn (the strategies); when to learn (the timing); why to learn (the goals and the aims). We present teaching progressions about how to learn traditional dances in the formative and educational context. We suggest a set of strategies, based on ethno-choreographic writing in order to promote efficiency in the learning of traditional dances.
