Resumen |
The aim of this study is to characterize the most important values of the Slovak traditional culture which have the potential application in national tourism. Methodology focuses on ethnological studies of selected regions of Slovakia with preserved traditional culture. The main results are considered to be the overview of the most important elements of the culture which have already been included in the national lists or world s lists of cultural heritage. In particular, the reservations of folk architecture, the villages of the year, and a representative list of intangible cultural heritage which are due to their importance, underused in the national tourism. A great potential has a culinary culture preserved in some Slovak regions and presented in different forms, but it is used only in the local area. |
