Rogativas de animeros y aguilanderos en las ermitas rurales del campo de Lorca, Águilas, Puerto Lumbreras y Vélez Rubio

This study includes the musical tradition of popular and ancestral origin concerning the "Cuadrillas de animeros y aguilanderos" which appear in the countryside in Lorca, Águilas, Puerto Lumbreras y Vélez Rubio. Their function consists of dedicating some verses to the deceased people, so as to remember them and pray for achieving their soul¿s salvation before a certain saint or virgin s image.
