Research on the Role of Local Government in the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage: The Empirical Analysis Based on the Heritage Safeguarding of Yunnan Crossing-bridge Rice Noodle

This paper takes the example of an empirical analysis based on the heritage safeguarding of Yunnan Crossing-bridge Rice Noodle; it explores the role and function of local government in the conservation of such heritage. Although the local government has taken the responsibilities for the conservation of Yunnan Crossing-bridge Rice Noodle, as a leader, a coordinator of resource integration, and a supervisor of heritage conversation, but it should convert its role from a leader to a navigator, from an organizer to a regulator, from a manager to a monitor, and then to promote the conservation and inheritance of intangible heritage.
