Research on geographical indication and cultural heritage of yellow tea in China.

As China s unique and more ancient tea, yellow tea is one of the six basic teas. This paper introduces the protection status of geographical indications and cultural heritage of yellow tea in China, points out the existent main problems, and presents the following countermeasures for promoting the protection of geographical indications and cultural heritage of yellow tea: improving the intellectual property protection system of geographical indications, strengthening the project application of national and world intangible cultural heritage, strengthening the protection of tangible cultural heritage, protecting brand-type cultural heritage, and declaring Chinese and global important agricultural cultural heritage.
