Although there is a cultural property protection law, the actual application varies greatly depending on the region. This paper examined the application status of the policy to the intangible cultural heritage of local folk songs in Gyeonggi-do and looked for problems. In fact, there are many problems with the application of the law at the site, and the absence of management leads to the disappearance of the relevant cultural heritage. It is necessary to scrutinize and supplement blind spots that are beyond the power of the law.Folk songs are songs of the past and now the opportunity to be sung is just around the corner. Therefore, we have two choices. One is the way to pursue modernized folk songs and make them into performances. The other is to preserve the old form by respecting intangible heritage values. To that end, Gyeonggi Province should scrap its policy of requiring folk groups to perform on stage. On the contrary, we should support the traditional way of performing in the village.Change is rapid. But if we don t come up with measures ahead of change, we will lose too much. We hope that it will be a cultural asset policy that constantly checks and observes microscopicly and proceeds without missing anything. |
