Resumen

Located inside the heart of the Historic Center of the city, 100 meters far from the Church of San Felipe Neri and 300 meters far from the Plaza Mayor, between the streets of Andrés de Cabrera and El Peso (place of passage of all the processions of the Holy Week) and in a historical building that once was the Palace of Girón and Cañizares and institutional headquarters, stands the Museum of Holy Week in Cuenca. On May 10th, 2007 opened this special exhibition space, which exhibits more than 150 pieces of great artistic and sentimental value and for which more than 22,000 people have passed in 11 years. A space that, above all, includes within its walls the tradition that structures the life of an entire city and is a living testimony of how the correct use of technology can help preserve -and enrich- the intangible heritage.
