From the notion of the road as a unit with material, natural and intangible heritage values, this article shows the methodological process for a comprehensive diagnosis made in some roads and historical ways related to the Royal Botanical Expedition. It seeks to identifythe path values around their environment, conservation, architecture and living conditions of its inhabitants.
