AB - The article reacts on aspects that are related to a preservation of the cultural heritage in connection to education. It focuses on the folks´ traditions and crafts, on the role of the school subjects based on practical activities and technical skills that are realised at the basic schools. It succeeded with a help of the analytical-synthetic approaches to refer on the reality that the basic education plays a significant role in the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage.
