In clothing performance teaching, intangible cultural heritage clothing is introduced as an educational resource into clothing performance teaching in universities. By systematically introducing the historical evolution of various traditional intangible cultural heritage clothing and refining its aesthetic value, it can help college students better understand Chinese traditional culture and enhance cultural confidence. At the same time, intangible cultural heritage clothing can also serve as a cultural heritage, inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, and reproducing the educational value of traditional clothing culture.
