Pastoral life s existence as intangible cultural heritage is declining nowadays because children prefer popular activities with exciting visuals and presentations. At the same time, AR technology assimilation to conventional media has started to emerge. Previous studies show the great potential of AR-based books for children and indicate that this technology enhances their learning experience. This paper adapts participatory content creation, including data collection, analysis, synthesis, development, and communication within an AR book. The AR book is expected to provide a tangible experience for children to enjoy and preserve traditions and life scenes from the mountain of Psiloriti in Crete. C2 - SMAP - Int. Workshop Semant. Soc.
