TY - JOUR AU - Jung-Hyun Cho AB - This study was executed to compare Korea ‘Pungmul-gut’ with ‘Nongakmu’(Farmers’ dance of China’s Korean ethnic group). It is because some nations which owns common cultural heritage were conflict to make their own list as the UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage property lately. But their claims were only based on nationalism, there was no scientific research and understanding.A transmission of Pungmulgut has two methods of practical way. One is centripetal transmission, the other is centrifugal transmission. A centripetal transmission focus in traditional aspects and try to preserve the archi-type. While a centrifugal transmission focus in developmental aspects and try to recreate new version.The subjects of intangible cultural asset should focus and try to practice all ways. And The subjects of intangible cultural asset should guarantee economic independent. If they are financially independent, they are free from the policy of intangible cultural asset and are not interfered a press of outside power as governors, scholars, and so on.It is clear that Pungmul-gut and nongakmu had transformed as a process of settling in the different country. Pungmul-gut has been creating the context continually based on the region and archetype. Also, nongakmu has been appropriating the text to make new text based on nationalism. These differences of the settling is caused by social and cultural difference of Korea and China. And through these difference, we can know they each have go their separate ways.
