AB - A classification of Honamjwadonongak and Honamwoodonongak is familiar discourse among the Nongak player and research worker. Pangut of JwadoNongak have numerous performance contents, have a long performance time and aree elaborately composed of rhythms and jinpury.Intangible Cultural Heritage Imsilpilbongnongak, Namwonnongak, Goksongjookdongnongak, Ginanjoongpyoungnongak are well-traded in Pangut. The four groups that were selected in this study are active in performance and transmission activity. And These groups have done better research and research than other local groups.As a region, Honamjwadonongak has many common points. Jwadonongak is a tradition of various kinds of guts based on village guts such as Dangsangut, Duraegut, Jisinbarbgi(Madanbalbi), Gulgunggut and Pangut. And they keeps its old form relatively well.This paper compares Chaegut and Hohogut in four regions of Honamjwadonongak in detail. Chagut is the first gutkury(section of the performance) of Pangut, and builds up rhythm and melody for a long time cycle. The rhythm of Chaegut has a close relationship with the number of gongs. Chaegut has a fine and elaborate musical form. Hohogut shouts “Hoho” and “Huh” slogans and performs in parallel with various rhythms and complex jinpuri.The results of the study on Chaegut and Hohogut of Jwadonongak were as follows. The musical forms of Chaegut and Hohogut are in the order of introduction, theme of slow fast, yin and yang contrast rhythm of normal fast, fast rhythm, and cadence rhythm. Chagut and Hohogut, as well as all the gutkury(section of the performance), terminate with the fastest rhythm, Humori (Dumachi). Chagut and Hohogut have the core functions and roles of 2·3 mixed-shobbak rhythm and 2332 rhythm structure. Especially, the number of Chagut and the number of gongs seem to have a considerable relationship.
