The system is developed to improve the user's interest in the intangible cultural heritage of martial arts. Four basic actions in Wing Chun are designed as an example. The body joint coordinate information retrieval is employed to estimate the matching degree between the player's and template actions. We visualize the user's hand movement data according to the speed. The results of user study show that the system is helpful for the beginner to understand martial arts, and it also attracts the user's curiosity and indirectly improves the user's interest in martial arts. Moreover, the system is relatively comfortable in usability, because the movement is captured by the Kinect, which has little restraints on the user's body.
