This author insists that after we examine the directivity of the documentation projectfor each of the City/Do Intangible Cultural Heritage, National Intangible Heritage Center shouldplay initiative roles. First of all, this researcher has looked into the result of the documentationproject for each of the City/Do Intangible Cultural Heritage. Although several metropolitancities and provinces have attempted it, none has completed the documentation on all kindsof events entirely. According to the results of examining the outcome of the project, thisresearcher suggests it is necessary to establish the directivity of the documentation project forintangible cultural heritages in each of the metropolitan cities and provinces, build up roles forthe members of divisions in charge, develop guidebooks desirably, and also secure a precisesystem for consultation with academic experts or such. However, as it is not easy to build upthe proper identity of the project in each of the metropolitan cities and provinces, it is neededto increase the roles of National Intangible Heritage Center. Therefore, it is necessary 1) toform an organic group with civil servants in charge of City/Do Intangible Cultural Heritage, 2)to increase organs in Cultural Heritage Administration and also National Intangible HeritageCenter, 3) to develop and distribute a variety of manuals, and 4) to provide all the organizationsthat establish archives with central roles. Particularly, focusing on the fact that Jeonju whereNational Intangible Heritage Center is located is a city equipped with cultural redundancy, thisauthor suggests that National Intangible Heritage Center should be the core of researchinginto, safeguarding and transmission of intangible heritages.
