The provision of new irrigated land because of the regulation of river Tiétar by the Rosarito reservoir and its channels infrastructure, makes viable the crop increasing of tobacco and paprika in the area called "vegas", radically changing Jaraíz way of life and its citizens. This has generated a culture based on these two products, which coexist in the same ecological space but where we can find some important ideological, cultural and symbolic differences.  a2172-7635
