Its author was able to acknowledge a universe of over 100 houses in the town of Vidigueira that were built using this construction technique. This paper’s purpose is to present these houses built, decorated and still occupied by some people of this small town. This paper also intendes to contribute to the knowledge about this community and its tangible and intangible heritage.
