It is used as a case study the interview conducted with Demar (Ademar), sculptor in wood, whose production creates, displays and sells at the Centro de Artesanato, having been awarded the title of "living heritage" by the municipal government for their craft. As the methodology resorted to recorded interview with semi-structured questions that addressed the sculptor s life, his art, his relationship with the city and local equity policies.
