It is contained within the intangible cultural heritage, and can be viewed as part of the cultural identity. In Croatia and globally, folklore is often recognised as a potential for the opening of eco-museums or outdoor museums. The village of Koprivnicki Ivanec is known for its wealth of folklore tradition, beginning from the Ivanec embroidery, folk costumes, traditional crafts and customs, song and dance, and its dialect. As such, it has exceptional potential for the establishment of an eco-museum or an outdoor museum, which would act to revitalise and nurture the tradition, provide others with a chance to become acquainted with the Ivanec folklore, and to stimulate the tourism promotion of the village. a13335286 (ISSN)
