When project ideas, products and business plans are released to the public, they are sponsored by those who agree to them. This study was conducted to show that current trends which aim to value based consumption and cultural heritages could be suitable for crowdfunding. As the market system for cultural heritage producers and consumers does not work properly in reality, it should be rebuilt. In order to do this, a medium with an understanding of cultural heritage producers, stocks, and consumer trends in consumption should intervene to reshape demand and supply. The author coundcuted a crowdfunding, called Jeonju Sotdae Diffuser to promote intangible cultural heritage. The funding period was from April 15 to April 29, 2019, and the amount of money raised was about 4 million wons, which was about eight times higher than the target of 500,000 wons. The products of Sotdae diffuser were sold out. This is a case of the possibility of activating cultural heritage due to the intervention of intermediaries, planning, and marketing plans. This study may contribute to protecting and activating the nature of cultural heritage through successful application of contemporary lifestyle. a1975-5945
