Although each section has the characteristics of synthetic arts combined by songs(or binary), wordplay, music, and theatres as well as dancing moves, these characteristics tend to be decreased these days. Thus, this study aimed to explore the approaches to finding the authentic features of Namsadangnori as a popular culture, and experiencing the performance for the purpose.Firstly, since the object of the study was Korean high schoolers, 『Music』 textbooks of Korean high schools were examined. As a result, this study identified to explain Namsadangnori under the themes of ‘the history of Korean music’ and ‘the music of the sadangpae’ in only two publishers and to shortly refer it as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity related to the area of daily living in the others. Also, the explanation or photos of Namsadangnori was not enough.Secondly, this study selected the teaching and learning contents as the followings: singing the songs, playing instruments, and experiencing the dance moves, wordplay, and the performance used in beonanori for the area of expression and appreciating and understanding each section for the area of appreciation from the 2015 Revised Curriculum.Lastly, this study demonstrated the selected contents and activities in \textlessExample\textgreater, and developed the educational materials used in music classes. Moreover, the methods of the integrated education related with Korean literature and history were established.Since the study presented the approaches to experiencing Namsadangnori in general, the author hopes that these studies and classes become more active. a1976-3522
