Paying attention to the UNESCO Registry of Good Safeguarding Practices for Intangible Cultural Heritage is relevant to discover ideas that have become successful cases and that can serve as a reference in the matter, being solutions that arise from the same asset management practice. Therefore, the objective is to analyze four cases that are part of this Registry and that were developed in South America, being valued for their innovative nature in the repertoire of customary patrimonial solutions. For the study of the cases, a documentary review was made of academic publications, institutional websites and patrimonial disclosure. The focus of the analysis recognizes the development of creative solutions in cultural heritage management carried out in the cases studied, which at the same time stress the inadequacies of this current model. a0719-5605
