The methodological approach was based on the Interpretative Paradigm using qualitative methodology through Participatory Revaluation Research (PRI) by means of semi-structured interviews with an intentional sample of 7 women artisans of the community and the recording of the handicraft processes of elaboration of ceramic products. The reconstruction of ceramic knowledge made it possible to value and make visible the participation of women artisans in the cultural and economic activities of the municipality in products of new academic knowledge and in technical documents for institutions related to the development of public policies.
