This study focuses on the in-depth application of flow theory in the field of intangible cultural heritage app interface interaction design. Through a detailed analysis of representative intangible cultural heritage app cases, it accurately reveals the fit between intangible heritage apps and flow theory, as well as many existing problems. Then, according to the case, four targeted improvement strategies are proposed, and based on these strategies, the interface interaction design framework of intangible cultural heritage app is built to stimulate flow experience. The aim is to open up new ideas for the design and optimization of intangible cultural heritage apps, comprehensively improving users’ immersive experiences and enhancing their flow experiences. By combining theory with practice, this study promotes the inheritance and vigorous development of intangible cultural heritage in the wave of digitization.
