This paper explains the process of designing handicraft products that are not heritage-based by describing traditional handicraft products. Using image processing technology, the collected images are pre-processed, and after extracting the image features based on a clustering algorithm, the features are reorganized, deduced, and fused using shape grammar to achieve the purpose of NRH s innovative design. The Kano model is used to analyze the demand for non-heritage innovation design based on shape grammar. The top 5 user demand items of importance for NRH product innovation design are durability (0.7982) \textgreater utility (0.7906) \textgreater ethnic difference (0.7887) \textgreater regional culture (0.7223) \textgreater personalized design (0.7507). The combination of the Kano model and information technology enables precise positioning of the entire process of NRH innovation design.
