Four traditional Han River dances were analyzed using qualitative approach and comparative analysis: Yange dance, Bench dragon dance, funeral dances and dry boat rowing. They were also analyzed according to the concepts of community and interaction based on the method of cultural anthropology. The results of the study showed that these traditional dances have faced challenges due to modernization and changing lifestyles. Local governments, cultural organizations and communities worked together to ensure that the dance continued to be passed on to younger generations. This includes the organization of festivals, workshops and performances that play a significant cultural role. Some modern versions of the performance now include modern music, lighting effects, and even choreography that combine traditional movements with modern dance techniques. The results could become a catalyst for local communities to preserve their own cultural heritage for future generations. In addition to their cultural significance, the results have educational value. The findings can be incorporated into local curricula to promote cultural identity and pride among students.
