But, only few people watch the play now because of the increasing popularity of new media. To attract more people s attention, we offer a new digitised performance method based on multi-point interactive controlling. The method maps transforms of a small group of controlling points to character controlling points accordingly. We define mapping rules that decrease the complexity of controlling with fingers. Even the performer with no skills can perform well in our run-time system. With this method, the performers can perform digitised shadow play effectively with no limitation of the traditional shadow play resources. a09528091 (ISSN)
