This award was introduced in the 1960s, as a way of valuing actions around folklore, culture and preservation of heritage assets. Thus, it is inserted the monographs that were selected as winners or that received honorable mention, tracing an overview of the studies that deal with the intangible heritage, popular culture and women s knowledge, since it is conceived as fundamental in historical research. Theoretical and methodological references are structured by the concepts of popular culture, immaterial heritage, female knowledge and interdisciplinary dialogues, as studies are from various areas of knowledge. Situating the main areas of knowledge of the selected monographs.
