Through the creation practice of "pattern of southern silk road ". this paper analyzes the design route of Sichuan brocade by taking technique extraction as the entry point. The research points out that the craft of warps traction has the vitality of advancing with the times, and the design innovation should be rooted m the correct interpretation and proper application of the ancient craft.
