The presentation is framed within and understanding of the geographical and historical context of these Indigenous Nationalities; the meaning of their identity; and the threats to its preservation and transmission. The first section offers a contextualization of the territory to understand the PCI’s spatial distribution, and the sociohistorical context of its origin and development. The second section discusses the composition of the ethnographic registry according to areas and sub-areas to assess the contribution of each to PCI of these Indigenous Nationalities. In the third section discusses PCI’s contribution to these Indigenous Nationalities identities while facing a new socio-economic context. The last part assesses the risks that threaten PCI’s resilience in the face of the impact of different factors that affect its practice, preservation, and transmission to the new generations. In this section, a risk management model is developed for PCI that could be used in another context. a2631-2506
