In this work, we presents the first results of two research projects which pretend to recover the memory and history of rural strikes of 1920-1921 in the northeast of Santa Cruz. These project are focused on the tangible and intangible heritage associated with these tragic events, and also ultimately in the location of tombs and mass graves of the rural labourers killed in this territory. Investigations are conducted from an interdisciplinary approach, as several lines of work are developing, including the participation of historians, architects, media specialists and archaeologists. In this paper, in particular, the first results from building a Geographical Information System (GIS) and a documental database are presented. This work will continue with the addition of new information to the database, as well as field work in selected places where, according to the results previously obtained, there could have existed some strikers camps or mass graves. a1851-3190
