Forthe purposes of this research, the concept established by the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage UNESCO was adopted. The analysis of the information was qualitative, compiling stories, interviews and the territorial ordering of the Riobamba Cantón together with the Rural Cacha and Rural Flores parishes, in order to comply with the process of safeguarding the cultural and intangible heritage of these peoples.
