This study explored oral heritages of fishery literature in the islands of the Korean peninsula from the registrative perspective. Moreover, it focused on the islands spirit incarnated via the folklore cultural communication device which was established in the oral heritages. At the same time, it speculated on the historical status of marine atmosphere in modern society. This study first discussed the characteristic of cultural properties. In regard to cultural resources, Local culture began to be characterized in history and cultural zones became expended in society. Therefore, infinity and finity, individualism and socialism, activity and passivity should undergo in-depth inspection which are in the relationship of artistic object+artist+artistic works+reader/attendance/audience. In addition, The Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity should be used as a means and development/conservation and record/film for cultural tourism should be utilized as methods. Second, access to oral heritages was discussed in a sense that local culture are characterized in historical view. Islands inhabitants have idolized the sea god at comprehensive artistic ritual sites. Through this, they performed a ceremony following life and production cycles. Not only that, an aesthetic monopoly activity was tried on by linguistic statements and literary images. As a result, a folk cultural communication device is established in relation to objectsubstancecognitionconsciousnessphenomenonpracticeemotion. Islands spirits, such as the ecology of life, the nature of adaptability, the openness of diversity, enterprise of consciousness, etc. comes to embodiment. Therefore, a sea culturologist who sets a high value on islands people s daily life and cultural spaces should supplement additional contrast clauses in order to understand relative characteristics regarding oral heritages of fishery culture. At the same time, interdisciplinary joint research projects which include the subject, background, the object, cognition, and expression should be designed and investigate maritime spirits shown in oral heritages. Last, the issue of cultural zones which socially expand was placed on discussion. Cultural zones which are divided into five regions from the Southwest waters, the West waters, the South waters and the Jeju waters, through to the East waters, depending on islands perspectives, became classified into four groups: the Southwest waters, the West waters, the South and Jeju waters, and the East waters. To be a global topic, the oral heritage of fishery culture sometimes should be the subject of folklore, comparative study, aesthetics, kinetics and, sometimes, should be the object of them. Furthermore, its function should be awaken in temporary life and its meaning should be exhibited in fishery practices. |
