Neves AB - The Trezena Santo Antonio is held the city of Cáceres in Mato Grosso since the end of the Paraguai war, the late nineteenth century to the present day. Considering historical and cultural aspects of Trezena, the objective of this research was to investigate of the organization the Trezena Santo Antonio, analyzing its potential as intangible heritage of Cáceres. Data collection was made possible through field research, bibliography and documents, exploring articles, books, monographs, dissertations, theses, newspapers, photographs, among other sources. Following a liturgical cycle and through a mixture of classical and popular catholicism, the celebration takes place annually through the prayers during the first thirteen days of June, when participants celebrate Santo. Antonio. They recite prayers, litanies, corners, acknowledgment and end the devotional celebrations with the "solemn mass" at Santo Antonio s Day, June 13. Even the Trezena constituting a closed circuit event, was evidenced it presents potential to be an intangible heritage of Cáceres due to their characteristics and importance to the devotees and participants, and has thus a cultural reference that keeps alive for over a hundred years given the hopes raised in the faith community.
