In this text, a Spanish case is presented before the Court of Justice of the EU, where it is established that linguistic diversity deserves protection and promotion, allowing Member States to take necessary measures to preserve and foster languages. This contributes to safeguarding cultural wealth and promoting linguistic equality at the European level. Likewise, the impact of this judgment on the national level will be analyzed.  a1132-7170
