Despite these forms of protection, the original path has undergone several anthropic transformations that intensified between the 50s and 80s of the last century and that have profoundly modified the original layout to make it unrecognizable in some parts. Nevertheless, this heritage is today the subject of several projects aimed at the enhancement and recovery of both the tracks and the villages crossed by these, by assigning them the task of possible drivers of economic development, particularly for the internal areas of the country [7–10]. This work, therefore, focuses on four of the Abruzzo region’s tratturi, with a dual objective. On the one hand, the aim is to analyze the urban transformations in the recent past and on the other hand to implement an updated information system of this regional heritage. The latter makes it possible not only the awareness of the site current state of conservation but also of the system of constraints and the existing urban planning previsions. A system of this nature makes it possible to check, in real-time, any discrepancies with the plan forecasts and proves to be an indispensable tool for the management of this important heritage.  a18650929 (ISSN); 9783031174384 (ISBN)
