By using the data from the Special Eurobarometer 466 from 2017, a survey undertaken some months before European Year of Cultural Heritage started, we can better understand how citizens access and enjoy the elements of cultural heritage through different modes of participation. We analyze visits to monuments and heritage institutions, the participation in intangible cultural heritage expressions, and digital access.
