The celebration that traditionally takes place between August 30th and September 8th is na inseparable part of the city´s history, being able to mobilize a wide network of memories and feelings that are fundamental for the maintenance and dynamics of the celebration. Thus, in order to carry out the research, it is necesary to think about the dynamics of the municipality, understanding it as a living territory and conceived by the subjects that composse it. From this perspective, we seek to observe the relationships between memory, identity and cultural assets, using the idea that cultural heritage must have meaning for the Community in which it is presente. In the study, it proposes the analysis of the Bill, unanimously approved by the City Council of Aldermen, which makes the celebration na intangible cultural heritage of Firminópolis. Based on the demands of the residentes, especially the Catholic faithful, the Project was conceived and requested in plenary, with the objective of contributing to the safeguarding and viability of the party.  a2176-8943
