En el proceso investigativo se emplearon métodosteóricos y técnicas como la revisión bibliográfica o análisis documental, las entrevistas yla observación participante.La aplicación de estos instrumentos permitió describir y elaborar una documentación de todos los grupos religiosos que coexisten en el Barrio Jamaicano,reconocidotambiénpor su arraigada religiosidad. From a qualitative perspective, the present investigation describes the forms of religiosity present in the Jamaican District of the municipality of Baraguá in Ciego de Ávila. Definitions and criteria of religiosity and its singularities are offered in this Avilanian settlement. In addition, the fundamental characteristics of each of the groups and religious practices that characterize the territory, as well as the tolerance present in it, are exposed. In the research process, theoretical methods and techniques were used, such as bibliographic review or documentary analysis, interviews and participant observation. The application of these instruments allowed to describe and elaborate a documentation of all the religious groups that coexist in the Jamaican Quarter, also recognized by its deep religiosity.
