This late incorporation to the patrimonial discourses has determined incomplete approaches, in which the focus of attention has been placed on great tangible vestiges and in which society has not always played a relevant role. However, the recovery of these forgotten memories seems as urgent as the valorization of movable and immovable property, because ultimately they cannot be understood without each other.Faced with the supposed objectivity of a hegemonic history, since the 1960s much of international historiography has proposed a paradigm shift towards stories-from-below or micro-stories, which account for the plurality of diverse realities and provide stories with which one can become emotionally involved; With this, there has also been a revaluation of oral sources as a material for the reconstruction of that shared past. From this perspective, we consider necessary to propose a project on the oral memory of the Guadiato mining basin (Córdoba), especially at a time when the cessation of extractive activity has been confirmed and therefore the transmission of knowledge related to it. The first phase will aim to exhaustively trace previous studies on the industrial past of the basin in order to identify gaps in the main issues addressed and their possibilities for expansion; Based on this compilation, groups of people can be gathered for interviews in order to ask them appropriate questions. A second phase will consist in the realization of these interviews, with special attention to the singularities of their individual stories (gender, social class, professional position, emotional ties ...) and their relationship with specific places, all of which will be registered in different formats and media. A third phase will serve to systematize the information generated during the process and give it a final publication form, so that it can reach as many interested parties as possible. a978-84-09-15972-7
