A diagnosis pointed out the limitation that the ´´Comprehensive Program for the Preparation of the Basque Pelota Athlete´´ until the moment of the investigation, only covered up to the modality of the Cuban fronton. What was stated motivated the authors to direct the investigation in this sense, with the purpose of designing a technical preparation program for pelotaris of Paleta Cuero frontón, under-22 category of the national team. For this, the theoretical methods were applied: analytical-synthetic and system approach. As empirical methods will be applied: document review, observation, survey application, interview, measurement and specialist criteria. Percentage and average calculation will also be applied as a statistical procedure. This publication explains the fundamental characteristics that the technical preparation program for   pelotaris of Paleta Cuero frontón cannot record. Then, it contributes to the updating and completion of the ´´Integral Program for the Preparation of the Athlete of Basque Pelota in Cuba´´, in its modalities of international competition. On the other hand, coaches and directors of this sport are provided with a work tool emanating from scientific research, which in its application favors the improvement of the process of technical preparation of pelotaris. As a result: an effective way of directing the athletic preparation in this specialty; and continue in sustainability of results, durability of athletes and increase in the number of athletes.  a1810-5882
