Review recent discussions on the research status and historical origins of Arirang and Miryang Arirang. As a result it is confirmed that the discussion of the origin of Arirang and Miryang Arirang is still uncertain, and that Miryang Arirang cannot be closely connected as a cultural symbol of Miryang. The Bali Subak irrigation system presented as compartative research cases can be discussed in terms of various points. The point of interest is understood as the process of acquiring the locality and authenticity of Subak system. It is not necessary to discuss the origin of Miryang Arirang, but it is necessary to discuss how to use tradition and cultural contents.},
